Storage components

Storage components differ depending on the server environment. PMP is designed to monitor a variety of storage

components, including:

• Storage enclosures

• Fibre Channel HBAs

• SCSI arrays and logical and physical disk drives

• Smart arrays

Storage Status

• Storage Transfers/Sec—The number of PCI bus transfers to and from storage each second

• Storage MBytes/Sec—The average number of megabytes transferred (read and written) on the storage

each second

Storage Inventory

• Windows/Linux Logical Disks—Lists all of the logical disks in the storage subsystem and identifies their

associated drive letter, file system, disk drive size (in MB), and percentage of space used

• Windows/Linux Physical Disks—Lists all of the physical disks in the storage subsystem and identifies their

associated SCSI ID, drive letter, and array controller
