2. Select the default parameters for the copy.

It is important for base media copies that both the primary copy and the secondary copy media are of the

same format in terms of block size, etc, as many backup applications cannot reformat “on the fly”.

3. The media copy is shown as successful.

To perform an interactive object copy, VTL

1. Select Objects in the left-hand navigation pane. We have chosen to copy the last backups of the server Zen.

If we had multiple hosts and objects associated with these hosts, by selecting different “objects” we can copy

(merge) them all into a single copy job with each of the objects being copied in turn to the physical tape

media.
