5.17 Speaker/Microphone
✎
The speaker/microphone is included in the Miscellaneous Plastics
Kit, spare part number 325528-001, and is also included with the
top cover, spare part number 325510-001.
1. Prepare the notebook for disassembly (Section 5.3) and
remove the following components:
❏ LED switch cover (Section 5.7)
❏ Keyboard (Section 5.8)
❏ Display assembly (Section 5.12)
❏ Top cover (Section 5.13)
2. Turn the top cover bottom side up with the TouchPad facing
forward.
3. Remove the two PM2.0×4.0 screws 1 that secure the
speaker/microphone to the top cover.
4. Remove the speaker/microphone 2 from the top cover.
Removing the Speaker/Microphone
Reverse the above procedure to install the speaker/microphone.
