can be adjusted to as low as 3 ms in the display menu. All performance specications represent the
typical specications provided by HP’s component manufacturers; actual performance may vary either
higher or lower.
Using Deep Sleep mode
The monitor supports an OSD option called Deep Sleep that allows you to enable or disable a reduced power
state for the monitor. When Deep Sleep mode is enabled (enabled by default), the monitor will enter a
reduced power state when the host PC signals low power mode (absence of either horizontal or vertical sync
signal) after 15 minutes.
Upon entering this reduced power state (sleep mode), after 15 minutes, the monitor screen is blanked, the
backlight is turned o, and the power LED indicator turns amber. The monitor draws less than 0.5 W of power
when in this reduced power state after 15 minutes. The monitor will wake from the sleep mode when the host
computer sends an active signal to the monitor (for example, if you activate the mouse or keyboard).
You can disable Deep Sleep in the OSD. Press the Menu button on the right side of the monitor to open the
OSD. In the OSD menu select Power Control > DP Deep Sleep or HDMI Deep Sleep > O.
