By responding to the

Enter Request:

message at the end of the main

configuration menu with "5" (Set Printer Select Code), you may

change the Printer Select Code to a user-defined code. The Printer

Select Code consists of any character string from 1 to 8 ASCII

characters.

Print Master will respond with:

Printer Select Code is......................$PRINTER

Enter Printer Select Code

(0 to 8 Chrs, Hit Return)...................:

Enter the new Printer Select Code, followed by <ENTER> or just

<ENTER> for no change.

NOTE:

Non-printable characters are acceptable, but they will not

appear in the Status print-out. If you are using the BayTech utility

software to select printers, be certain to change the Printer Select

Code in the software as well.

Print Master will save the new Printer Select Code permanently in

non-volatile memory and return to the main configuration menu (
