Parity Check

Check digits are optional for MSI-Plessey and can be added as the last one or two digits, which are calculated values used

to verify the accuracy of the data.

If the No Parity Check option is enabled, the scanner transmits MSI-Plessey bar codes as is.

check digit(s) excluded will not be decoded. (For example, when the One Check Digit, MOD11 and Do

Not Transmit Check Digit options are enabled and the minimum length is s et t o 4, MSI-Plessey bar

codes with a total length of 4 characters including the check digit cannot be read.)
