Supported Stacking Configurations

The Fibre Channel converters are installed in a 729x enclosure. Each enclosure

can hold up to seven Fibre channel converters as shown in Figure 1-3.

Supported Stacking Configurations

The 729x enclosures can be in any of the following configurations:

•

Up to three enclosures stacked one on another (Figure 1-4)

•

Up to two enclosures stacked on one system enclosure (Figure 1-5)

•

Up to two enclosures stacked on one tape enclosure (Figure 1-6)
