Thiscommandswitchesthesettingsforthefollowingcommands(thevaluesforthesecommandscanbesetindependently

instandardmodeandpagemode)tothoseforstandardmode:

• Setright-sidecharacterspacing(1B20)

• Select1/6inchlinespacing(1B32)

• Setlinespacing(1B33)

Standardmodeisautomaticallyselectedwhenpoweristurnedon,theprinterisreset,ortheinitializeprintercommand

(1B40)isused.

18,1B0C,1D24,and1D5Ccommandsareignoredinstandardmode.

Thiscommandiseffectiveonlyinpagemode.

Select print direction in page mode

Value of n: Start position

0 = Upper left corner proceeding across page to the right [A]

1 = Lower left corner proceeding up the page [B]

2 = Lower right corner proceeding across page to the left (upside down) [C]

3 = Upper right corner proceeding down page [D]

Default: 0

Selectstheprintingdirectionandstartpositioninpagemode.Seetheillustrationbelow.

Thecommandcanbesentmultipletimessothatseveraldifferentprintareas,alignedindifferentprintdirections,canbe

developedintheprinter’spagebufferbeforebeingprintedusingtheprintpagemodecommands(0Cor1B0C).









Exceptions

Thecommandisvalidonlyinpagemode.

The command is ignored if the value of nisoutofthespeciedrange.

Ifthiscommandisprocessedinstandardmode,printdirectionisnotchangeduntiltheprinterissettopagemode.
