Importing Users

Administrators can make a Windows domain user a Storage Management

Appliance user by using the Import feature. The import feature is a convenient

way to add a Storage Management Appliance user with the same user name and

password the person uses to access their local network.

Access the Import User page (Figure 20) by clicking the Import button on the

Users page (Figure 18 on page 26).

Note: The Import button is only available when the Storage Management Appliance

is part of a domain. See “Domain Membership” on page 43 for more information.
