Deleting hosts
When a host is physically removed from the SAN, VSM detects the removal and changes the hosts
status to absent. VSM enables you to delete hosts if they are absent. You would normally do this if
you know that you do not intend to reconnect the host that was removed. When a host is deleted, the
permissions that the host had to access VSM storage elements are removed.
To delete a host:
1. Right-click the host.
2. Select Delete. A confirmation screen appears.
3. Click Finish. The host is deleted.
