When you double-click a NAS port, the following host groups appear:

• NAS-Sys

•If you select NAS-Sys, the table on the right displays information about paths to system LUs. The

table contents are dimmed and cannot be changed.

• This host group number is 00.

• User

•If you select User, the table on the right displays information about paths to user LUs.

• This host group number is 01.

iSCSI folder

When you double-click the iSCSI folder, iSCSI ports in the disk array appear as icons. The port name and

port attribute appear to the right of each icon.

NOTE:

• The iSCSI folder is available if the disk array has an iSCSI channel adapter

• iSCSI ports always have the Target attribute

The following iSCSI port icons are used in the LU Path tree:

• When you double-click an iSCSI port in the tree, a list of host groups appears represented by the

following icon: . The host group number, host group name, and host mode appear to the right of the

icon. For more information about host modes, see Table 3.

• When you double-click a host group in the tree, a list of host bus adapters appears represented by the

following icon: . The nickname and the iSCSI name of the host bus adapter appear to the right of this

icon.

NOTE: Host bus adapters are adapters in host computers and are used as ports for connecting

hosts and the disk array.

• When you double-click a port to which LUN security is not applied, the host groups except for the first

group (host group 0) are dimmed. If you double-click a dimmed host group, the contents of the LU Path

table (”LU Path table” on page 32) are dimmed.
