
Event log data script (EVNTLOG)
The event log keeps track of events such as data purge or collection con figuration. With this script,
you can use the CLUI to access event log data.
EVNTLOG usage
Following is the general format of the c om m a nd to invoke the script:
evntlog [-auth <user:passwd>] [-ms <URL>] [-L] [-d<char>] [-hr] [-?]
[-type <type ID>] [-sev <severity>] [-st <mm.dd.yyyy hh:mm:ss>] [-et
<mm.dd.yyyy hh:mm:ss>]
where:
–type
The type of the event.
–sev
The severity of the alarm, range 1 - 10.
–st
Thetimeanddateofthefirst alarm to display.
–et
The time and date of the last alarm to display.
–ms
The UR L of the mana g ement station.
–auth The username and password.
–pf Can be used in place of -auth.
NOTE:
The password file must be created using the encrypt command only.
–d
The delimiter for d elimited display.
–hr Displays human-readable output.
–?
Prints the usage statement.
