An LDEV number that ends with a letter V indicates that the LDEV is a virtual volume (V-VOL)

Capac it y :This eld shows the LDEV capacity.
RAID:This eld shows the RAID level of the LDEV.

RAID level is left unspecied with a hyphen (-) when the LDEV is an external LU

virtual volume (V-VOL).
PG:This eld shows the parity group number.
Note
: A parity group number that starts with a letter E indicates that the parity group consists of
one
or more external LUs (for example, E1-1).

rity group number tha t starts with a letter V indicates tha t the parity group consists
of
one or
more virtual volumes (V-VOLs) (for example, V1-1).
