Conﬁguring HyperFabric with ServiceGuard

Figure 4-2 below shows a HyperFabric switch conﬁguration with

ServiceGuard. This example shows a four-node conﬁguration with two

HyperFabric switches, and redundant heartbeat Ethernet LANs.

NOTE Because the HyperFabric network does not currently support

ServiceGuard heartbeat connections, you must use an alternative type of

connection for the heartbeat, such as FDDI, Token Ring, 100BaseT, or

Ethernet (as shown in Figure 4-2).
