How Transparent Local Failover Works

Consider a hypothetical HyperFabric conﬁguration in a 4-node cluster,

with each node having two adapters (see Figure 4-6). In this

conﬁguration, there is no single point of failure, and all adapters that are

installed on any given node are conﬁgured as part of a card pair.
