modify notification
The modify notification command changes an existing notification profile.
Syntax
modify notification -name=notification profile name
NOTE: You must use the -http keyword, the -email keyword, or both to specify the notification
method for this profile.
Keywords
A comma-delimited list of email addresses to which a message is sent when the event
occurs. If this keyword is not specified, email notification for this profile is disabled;
specify the -http keyword to enable HTTP notification instead.
-email=
Specifies the event type that triggers sending email to the list of recipients. Keyword
values depend on the profile type.
-event=
If this keyword is not specified, the default is either -event=all or
-event=dm_all.
When used with keyword -type=default and -type=fcip, values are:
• all
• error
• warning
When used with keyword -type=dm, values are:
• dm_all
• dm_complete
• dm_fail
• dm_pause
• dm_start
• dm_stop
• dm_verify_complete
Specifies that the notification is to be posted to an HTTP server. Values are:-http=
• yes
• no
• on
• off
• true
• false
If this keyword is not specified, the current profile settings are used instead.
