External storage drives

The two MSA30 storage enclosures for the DL380 G4 9TB are conﬁgured

for hardware RA ID fault tolerance using the HP Smart Array 6402 RAID

Controller. The HD Ds are hot-pluggable and hot-swappable.

The logical drives are conﬁguredasRAID5volumes,andpartitioned

with four RAID 5 logical partitions. A total of four R AID 5 backup data

partitions, plus one internal, are available for the DPM software.
