Using the Storage Window

74 Command Console V2.5 User Guide

Note: The time required to initialize a virtual disk depends on the number of members

and its size. During initialization, the virtual disk is unavailable for I/O. You should

not use the virtual disks until initialization is complete.

After creating a virtual disk, you must perform additional steps to properly

configure your operating system. See "Configuring the Operating System to

Recognize Virtual Disk Changes", page 77, for more information.
