Viewing updated information
After a request is received by the database, information is run on the selected host. After the i nformation
is run, the requ
ested field is set to False and the received field is set to True.ClickSubmit to see the
updated fields.
Collecting data from a reconfigured array
To collect data from a reconfigured array, complete the following steps:
1. Select from the list box, the host that is collecting data for the reconfigured array.
2. Select Request Info and click Submit.
During the next data collection cycle, the host agent recollects the configuration data from the
array and displays it in the Array View screen.

Table 18 lists the components that appear on the Host Information screen. Use these components to view
and gather i
nformation about your host a rrays.

Mod (Modified)
An asterisk in this column indicates that some
information has been changed, but the changes are
not submitted to the database.
Status
A value of 1, 2, 3, or 4 appears, depending on the
status of
the request. 1 - Received 2 - Requested 3 -
Deleted 4

Updated
Thedatetheconfiguration device file was sent to the
management station.
Host
The identifi cation number of the host.
OS
The operating system, such as HP-UX or Windows XP.
Request Info (button)
Enables a request to run information on a specified
host.
Unrequest Info (button)
Designates a host on which you do not want to run
information.
Restor
e Changes (but ton)
Returns the information to its original status prior to
modific
ations.
Remove Host (button)
Removes a host. When you remove a host, all
configuration information for that host is also
removed, and you c an no longer collect data for it.
Submit (button)
Commits changes to and updates the database.
Refreshes the Configuration screen.
