Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.

4. Remove the server from the chassis ("Removing the server from the chassis" on page 18).

5. Remove the drives on quick release carriers from the system tray.

6. Remove the drives from the front of the system tray:

a. Rotate the tray handle to unlock the power connector.

b. Remove the drive from the chassis.

7. Install the server into the chassis ("Installing the server into the chassis" on page 23).

8. Connect the peripheral devices to the server.

9. Power up the server ("Powering up and configuring the server" on page 25).

Processor options

WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the drives and the

internal system components to cool before touching them.

CAUTION: To prevent possible server malfunction and damage to the equipment, multiprocessor

configurations must contain processors with the same part number.
