Removing a PCI Hot Plug Expansion Board
Your Compaq ProLiant ML370 Generation 2 server includes a PCI slot
divider and ejector to ensure slot safety and to facilitate expansion board
removal. Use the following procedure to remove an expansion board from a
PCI Hot Plug slot:
1. Power down the PCI Hot Plug slot. See “Installing PCI Hot Plug
Expansion Boards” in this chapter.
IMPORTANT: Ensure that the slot LED is off before removing the expansion board.
2. Release the PCI guide clip.
