Receiving fax problems
Use this table to solve problems that might occur when receivin
g faxes.
The volume for sounds coming
from the fax is too loud or too
quiet.
The volume setting needs to be
adjusted.
See chapter 4 of the User Reference Guide
on the CD-ROM for more information about
changing the sound-volume settings.
Problem Cause Solution
Incoming fax calls are not being
answered by the fax (no fax
detected).
The rings-to-answer setting might not
be set correctly.
