If more than one HP D2D Backup System is being conﬁgured at the same time, it may be useful

to physically identify a D2 D device. Use Beacon mode to ﬂash the LEDs on the selected device.

• iSCSI installation and conﬁguration: If required, this step retrieves and installs the Microsoft

iSCSI initiator, connects this host to the HP D2D Backup System and conﬁgures an autoloader,

as deﬁned by the user. The second option presented in this dialog is appropriate for most

backup applications and is the recommended option. You may edit the number of slots, if

required.
