NOTE:
NO is recommended if you are also selecting the Status Pane hidden option.
• Status Pane hidden Option: Specify the option to display the XP Remote Web Console Main
pane, Status tab (see ???) or not. If the Hide Status Pane check box is clicked, the Status tab
and the Status pane disappear from the XP Remote Web Console main pane. By default, the
check box is cleared.
NOTE:
If you select this option, we recommend that you also click NO for Polling period for checking
obstacles.
• Submit: Submits the parameters that you have set. Before the parameters are submitted, a
confirmation message is displayed. After the parameters have been submitted, another message
is displayed
(see Figure 71).
• Reset: Resets the XP Remote Web Console settings to the defaults.

To set the XP Remote Web Console environment parameters:
1. Log on as a storage administrator.
2. To access the Set Env. tab, click Option (
) on any of the XP Remote Web Console panes to open
the Control Panel. Click the Set Env. tab (see Figure 70).
3. Specify the XP Remote Web Console parameters as required.
4. Click Sub
mit.
5. When a confirmation message is displayed, click OK.
6. When a message indicating completion of submitting new environment parameters is displayed,
click OK to close the message.
7. Click Exit (
) to close the Control Panel.
NOTE:
You will need to log off and then log on again before the parameters take effect.
