Setting User Accounts (Account Pane)

NOTE:

When you log on to XP Remote Web Console for the ﬁrsttime, theLicense Keypaneand theAccount

pane are both available.

You can use the Account pane to register new user accounts or view and change settings for registered

user accounts.

This section describes the components of the Account pane, and the following sections describe the

procedures that can be performed from the Account pane. For information on XP Remote Web Console's

CAUTION:

If you change user account settings, you must back up the XP Remote Web Console conﬁguration

ﬁle by downloading the ﬁle from the SVP. For instructions on downloading the conﬁguration ﬁle, see

“Downloadingthe Logand Conﬁguration Files”onpage 112)

On theleft sideofthe Account pane, theAccount Informationtree (see Figure 56 on page 87) is

displayed. The Account Information tree consists of an SA (Storage Administrator) folder and SLPR folders

that are numbered from 01 to 31. When you open a folder, the user IDs of the user accounts registered in
