4 Gathering Setup Information
1. Contact your network administrator to obtain:
• IP addresses or 64-bit World Wide Name (WWN) address information for the interfaces of the storage systems
• Gateway IP addresses, netmask, and IP addresses for each link
• Any additional details about the network connections that might be useful
2. Verify that the firewall settings allow the remote-copy systems access to TCP port 5785.
3. Use the provided worksheets to organize the data. Use multiple copies of the relevant worksheet if the remote-copy
configuration has more than two systems.
