Description Conﬁgures the settings for the embedded SNMP agent.

NOTE:

Although all parameters are optional, at least one parameter must be

supplied for the command to be valid.

NOTE:

If a parameter is not speciﬁed then the current setting remains unchanged.

Syntax set snmp [community=<community>] [desc=<sysDescr>]

[location=<sysLocation>] [contact=<sysContact>]

[trap<n>=<dest-ip>[,<community>]]

Operands

NOTE:

All SNMP strings must be no longer than 255 characters, and they may

not contain spaces.

community=<community>

An SNMPv2 community string.

descr=<sysDescr>

The string for the SNMP sysDescr property.

location=<sysLocation>

The string for SNMP sysLocation property.

contact=<sysContact>

The string for SNMP sysContact property.

trap <c><n>=<dest-ip>[,<community>]

The trap destination table index and IP address.
