14. Install the basket.
15. Install the PCI-X Hot Plug expansion boards. If the server is powered off,
use non-hot-plug procedures ("Installing non-hot-plug expansion boards" on
page 89
) to install the expansion boards. If the server is running, install PCI-
X Hot Plug expansion boards using hot-plug procedures ("Installing hot plug
expansion boards" on page 91
).
16. Reinstall any expansion boards removed to install the PCI-X Hot Plug
Mezzanine Option.
17. Place the expansion slot covers over any remaining empty expansion slots,
and close the latches.
CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do
not operate the server unless all expansion slots have either an
expansion slot cover or an expansion board installed.
18. Replace the access panel ("Removing the access panel" on page 40).
19. Slide the server back into the rack.
20. Power up the server ("Powering up the server" on page 37
).
