controller processes the I/O requests, the host isn’t burdened by the
processing that’s typically associated with reading and writing data to
multiple storage devices.
For the most recent list of supported devices and operating systems, see
the product-specific release notes that accompanied your controller’s
software. To determine which specific parts you need for your
configuration, see “Connecting the Subsystem to the Host,” page 2–14.
