9-16 Meridian MAX system configuration

Assigning MSI or MEI links
For each MEI and MSI link, you must enter the port number which the
third party vendor will use to connect to the Meridian MAX. You must also
enable or disable the links. This is done on the Meridian MAX External
Interface Configuration screen.
For more information on MSI and MEI, refer to the Meridian MAX 8
MSI/MEI Protocol Reference Guide (P0853414).
MSI or MEI link procedure
Perform this procedure after assigning the ports and setting the system
parameters.

To assign the MSI or MEI links
1 Display the Meridian MAX Hardware and System Parameters menu.
