NOTE: Printers that are to be used with HP SmartTracker MUST have an Administrator’s password that has

been set using the printer’s embedded web server. Please refer to the Installation Guide.

Enter the password and click the Save button.

NOTE: This password will apply to all printers, excluding any printers that have their own particular password

set.

TIP: You are recommended to set the same Printer Admin password in all printers that will be managed by HP

SmartTracker. This will enable you to manage all your printers with this single global setting.

NOTE: All printers MUST have a password, you can have a password that is specic to the printer or,

alternatively, the global default password.

Editing a printer

Click the icon to open the Printer window.

Click the icon alongside the printer you want to edit, choose Edit from the menu that opens and you will

see a screen as illustrated below:
