Permissions

You will see the following screen:

In this screen you can congure two types of HP SmartTracker user: Administrator and Bookkeeper. Users of the

printers will be congured later.

NOTE: It is mandatory to enter an email address on the screen above. This address will be used to receive

notications sent by HP SmartTracker.

Administrators can:

●

Open the conguration panel and reports.

●

Create new reports.

●

Retrieve data.

●

Set permissions, costs, prices, printers, projects, users and groups.

●

Set language, measurement units and currency to be used by HP SmartTracker.

●

View previous reports.

Bookkeepers can:

●

Create new reports.

●

Retrieve data.

●

View previous reports.

The rst time you congure permissions you must create at least one user who is an Administrator.

To create an Administrator user, enter data directly in the elds in the Administrators section of the Permissions

tab illustrated below:
