By default, the authentication mode to control access to the printer is set to None. To change it, click the

icon and choose the option you want from the drop-down list:

Below is an explanation of the authentication options in the menu:

None:

No authentication needed.

Required: System asks for a user.

Required from list: User is selected from a drop-down list.

From list/password: User is selected from a drop-down list and a password must be entered

To add users, enter the data directly in the elds where it says Add text... and press the Enter key after you have

lled in the last eld.
