Managing the Disk Array
on HP-UX
6. Bind a LUN with the new disks using the management tool of your choice:
– To use SAM, see "Binding a LUN" on page 267
– To use Array Manager 60, see "Binding a LUN" on page 289
– To use STM, see "Binding a LUN" on page 314
Note
After binding a LUN, you must execute the
insf -e
command to install special
device files on the LUN. This makes the LUN usable by the operating system.
7. Mount the file system on the LUN and restore the data to the LUN.
8. Disable WCE on the disk modules using the following command:
amutil -w <ArrayID>
