378 SureStore E Disk System SC10 Troubleshooting
BCC Fault Amber
Self-test
1
/ Fault
OFF Normal operation
Flashing Peer BCC DIP switch settings do not match
LVD Green Bus operating in LVD mode
OFF Bus operating in single-ended mode
Term. Pwr. Green Termination power is available from the host.
Normal operation.
OFF There is no termination power.
Full Bus Green Disks are on a single bus of ten addresses.
OFF Disks are split between two buses, five addresses
each
Bus Active Green Bus is available for use.
OFF Isolator chip is disabled and bus is not available.

Disk Fault OFF Disk is operating normally.
Amber A fault has occurred with the disk.
Flashing Used to identify a disk using the software
management tools.
Disk Activity

Flashing Indicates that the disk is being accessed by the disk
array.
1 Startup and self-tests occur briefly when the unit is powered ON.
2 A component has failed; temperature or voltage is out of normal range.

3 When a disk is installed with power on, its activity LED stays ON until
the disk has spun up. When the disk is ready, the LED turns off.
Thereafter, it flashes when there is I/O to the disk.
